Hi everyone!
We receive a lot of support tickets on a daily basis, and our support team is small, and we want to provide another avenue for some of these issues to be able to be resolved swimmingly. As a result, I've opened up this sticky thread for our users to take advantage of and for us to continue to work to improve our flow in getting payout and tax issues resolved as quickly as possible.
For matters such as payout-related issues that are often quite pressing, or tax information-related issues (primarily when it comes to re-filing and getting updated information pushed through to our tax validation service), we wanted to provide a central thread for people to post their support tickets for payment and tax problems, in case we may have missed your ticket, rather than have people open up forum threads that involve discussing private matters that inevitably have to be closed and archived.
In order for this topic to serve its organizational purpose properly, we only have a few requests, and things for you to note:
- DO NOT post in this thread if you have not opened a support ticket!
The purpose of this thread is to get users' support tickets acknowledged via our support desk, not to serve as a second support desk. If you do not have a support ticket, please contact us here. - Do not post sensitive or identifying information here.
This should be pretty clear to most of our users, but please don't do things like post your PayPal information, your email address, or any purchases made by users that are associated with your payment issue. - Please do not make longform posts in this thread.
This thread will serve its purpose much more efficiently if you keep your message short and simple. Ideally, please summarize your issue in one or two sentences, and ensure that you have posted a support ticket ID. - When your case has been addressed, your post will be deleted.
This is to keep the thread as clean as possible and ensure the only posts are users who haven't been addressed in their support ticket yet. - This topic is primarily for users of our deferred payouts system, and users who need to have their tax information updates pushed to validation. Please do not post questions or support requests about our direct payments system in this thread unless the matter is particularly urgent, and continue to mind the guidelines above.
- We are not qualified to give you assistance on taxes or any tax filing. We also do not handle tax forms on our website, only the process of getting them pushed to validation.
Actual tax matters fall outside of the scope of our support desk, and as a result, we can only address issues that are specific to ensuring that we receive and can push your tax information updates through the validation process.
We also cannot modify tax forms for you, the most we can offer is the opportunity to file your tax information again, or direct you to the support desk for our tax information provider, Tax Identity Solutions. - We primarily speak English and thus can only offer support in English.
For other languages, we may have to resort to using mainstream translation solutions which may or may not be accurate. Please keep that in mind (and we apologize for the inconvenience)! - Payouts typically take between 7 to 12 days to be processed.
This is merely just an estimate, and fluctuates depending on volume of payout requests, deeper manual investigation of purchases, or if tax information is not validated. We are always working to reduce this estimated processing time, and some payouts may be processed earlier. First-time payouts are also commonly subject to extended review periods for security reasons.
If your payout is older than 12 days, let us know. If not, we would prefer that you wait unless it is an emergency. - We do not guarantee immediate support assistance over the weekend.
As we are often working around the clock aiming to acknowledge as many cases as we can, and we are human, we need to have our own little bits of downtime so that we can maintain our personal energy levels and ensure that we are providing adequate support. It's much more difficult to provide appropriate assistance when we're all tired and worn-out, and so we typically take weekends off.
If you haven't gotten a reply yet, check if it's the weekend or an American holiday first!
With all that cleared and settled, please post your support ticket IDs below with a brief description of the issue (payout is late, accidentally chose wrong payment destination, uploaded new tax information, etc). Again, please keep it short and avoid identifying information.
