Looking to work with a musician and sound designer (possibly the same person?) this year, ideally someone who has some experience making authentic GB music and sound effects. Last year I did the music and sound effects using Pico-8 and it was quite lack lustre! I'm planning to use Love2D and take last years game as a jumping point so a lot of infrastructure code and build generation is already written and working so expecting to get going as soon as the jam starta. I've sort of pre-decided to try making a shmup but that's not set in if the theme announcement gives us inspiration.
