Another commenter suggested these comment responses might be AI-generated as well. Wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt but, like... brother. This so flagrantly misses the point of what I was saying that it has to be, right?

"unless steeped in art history, an image is what it is, not how it was made". Uh... yeah... that's why I explicitly stated that the point of the comment wasn't just to say "AI bad". Multiple times. I'm not gonna go re-download this and count, but I'd say at least half the images in this wouldn't meet basic quality standards for posting to somewhere like e6ai. This isn't just AI art, it's objectively bad AI art, and you don't need an art history degree to see that.

"...almost never a grand punchline... no celestial author guiding their elegant disposition." You literally created a work of fiction with a climactic ending with an AI author guiding its disposition. Come on, man.

The reason why I took the time to write out that whole thing is pretty clearly stated in the first and last paragraph (that's how a thesis statement works! :) ). I wrote all that because you can always improve, and I cared enough to contribute something constructive to help with that. But all I'm getting in response is snark, and it looks like you couldn't even put in the effort to write your own snark. I tried, man. At least one of us can say that. Best of luck to you.

EDIT: Looking at this again, I'm noticing that what's in the comment response seems to line up with the shortest statements in my original comment, e.g., "hold in contempt" = "'visual' and 'novel' are sorely lacking", and "college undergraduate criticism about narrative" = "story-wise", "on the subject of Jonur", and "the entire scene". I'm wondering if the comment response wasn't AI-generated, but rather that this guy read up until he concluded the post was negative, then literally only read the shortest parts of the comment with no context and responded to those. If that's true, and he still decided to be rude and dismissive after not even taking the five minutes to read what he was responding to, that's somehow even worse than having AI do it.
