yes i tried that too, I tried backing up moving forward, jumping, crouching, holding e nothing worked :(

OMG I just figured it out you are not playing in full screen
If my guess is true try it in full screen
it launches in full screen! I got it to work 1 time. im trying to record it so i restarted and I cant get back in :
