It seems great, but I really don't like that the app says "connecting to servers" when I launch it... Makes it look fishy.
On your website you say what kind of data you collect but still you have no social media presence before that project so like, it's probably fine but not the most reassuring thing haha...
I really really like the idea and wished for a program like that for a long time but as I said not the most reassuring execution imo
The free trials and product keys are verified on the server since handling them locally makes them very vulnerable for exploiting, but your worry is totally understandable. The social media account is very new and doesn't have any presence, at least not yet.
I should probably be more explicit with the status messages (e.g. "Verifying Free Trial") instead of being ambiguous to help with trust a little bit.
