Interesting game! Visuals are nice and simple, and I love the mechanic of the leaderboard, and cashing out. The thing I was confused by was the game loop, once you learn the best option, it takes away challenge and risk... Perhaps I don't understand, but either way well done overall :)
We had plans to include more, such as a combat system, and meta progression, but unfortunately we ran out of time. We started the jam late, and coordinating was difficult since our schedules didn’t quite line up. Still, we’re glad we were able to finish something. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and playing our game! Thank you!
Nice game. I like the idea though the art could use some polish. Also, this is my first game jam. It would be cool if you rated and commented. Any comments on the actual gamepage is double nice. :D https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851809
We were aiming for a simple art style, though we know there are areas that could’ve used more polish. Unfortunately, time was tight and couldn’t refine it further. We appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!
I found myself playing this for a lot longer then i originally thought i would lmao, its actually a ton of fun, love the amount of risk there is with every option, you could make hundreds then suddenly lost it all, great game overall!
We are glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to play our game!
For some reason all I can see is a small viewport like 1/4 of the size of the window with a leaderboard, and I cant click to continue
Try checking your viewport settings in godot maybe?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We were not able to fix the issue during development. The issue seems to affect only the web player, but not for all web browser. Fortunately, there’s a quick workaround: try toggling full screen mode. After seeing your post, we realized we had forgotten to enable the full screen on the itch.io page. Thanks again!
I tried out the game and it's pretty fun! I think my favorite part is being able to use bbcode for my name lol
;p
Thanks for compliment and giving the game another shot! We truly appreciate the feedback!
