Did anyone refuse to bring the cat home at the start? I wanna know what will happen because I didn't make a different choice.

I don't remember it very well after 21 hrs of gameplay but i think you get the ending (it doesn't show in the endings gallery tho) 'not a sucker' or something along those lines
