Very fun idea!
But here are a few things to consider post jam:

  • After reaching max jump height, apply more downward force so it doesn’t feel floaty.

  • The game scene looks a bit plain—adding more colors and visual variety would help.

  • Instead of just showing a percentage, try adding an animation to indicate charging the jump.

  • Add a small shadow (like a black circle) under the player to make it clearer where you’re falling—similar to Crash Bandicoot.
