AHH! I live for quality of life updates!

0. Fewer crashes! NICE!

1. The old 2D trees will be missed, but I appreciate the new 3D trees a whole lot more.

2. The hud looks awesome! It's full of easy to read and useful information. The pendant is interesting, but I hope it isn't distracting or annoying. I will need to test it in-game.

3. The focal blur is giving me Echoes of Wisdom vibes (or Link's Awakening HD vibes, if you know that one better). Neat! It makes the screen more visually interesting. Also, the ability to disable it is appreciated because I know some people find it disorienting.

4. Debate Reminiscence = Very Cool!! 👍

5. It's hard to notice what's different, but maybe that is because I lack a side-by side. I'm sure whatever you did is better.

6. Wow! A new story segment. I need to check that out when I replay the game.

7. I appreciate the rewriting! It's great that you're able to go back and refine your vision. If I make a lets play someday it will probably help on my end. Especially the part about "reducing black background scenes"

8. Oh crap...

9. NEW MUSIC! YASSS!!!!!!

(Oh, but will you keep the original version of Rival Theory (Muted) on YouTube? I really like that version still. Maybe name it "Rival Theory (Moot)" instead of Motte?)

10. New sprites are looking sweet!

11. Ayy! New NPC's too!! You really undersold this update by calling it "One More Thing..."

12. Can't wait to play with Joker font and ruin the game's vibe. 🤣

13. 🐭

(+1)

My intention is to leave any development materials posted online available indefinitely, so both "old" mixes of Rival Theory will remain publicly available, although the video titles might change. I plan do do something similar with v0.3.2.1, the last build with the "beta art" still visible.

Also, technically I didn't get rid of all the tree billboards, just the ones you're able to walk near! Some of the 2D trees will still be visible in the backgrounds of 3D scenes, to save on polygons.

Yay! 2D tree hugging remains!
