Some plants randomly spawn with rare traits like unusual colors or sizes. When you identify one of those plants by using the "Plant Nursery" item, it unlocks special pot colors for that plant. If you don't want to wait around for a rare trait, you can get a seed code from one of the other threads and enter it into your plant nursery to clone the plant.
