so, I was playing it on a brand new Moto G Play 2024, like, I had just got it like a week (or so) ago, and there was barely anything on it. Now, it was a Tracphone(which I've known for a while to not be that great, my last Tracphone only had 4 GBs of data), an android, and has a Verison data plan, but it still took forever to load the game and scenes, as well as the characters randomly disappearing. As for the PC issue, here's the errors that are popping up in the inspect console:

⚠️Unrecognized feature: 'monetization' .

⚠️Unrecognized feature: 'xr'.

⚠️Allow attribute will take precedence over 'allowfullscreen'.

❌Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

❌Uncaught RangeError: WebAssembly.Memory(): could not allocate memory at index.html:654:16

Edit: I use Chrome on windows 11, I believe I'm using an Nvidia graphics card, and I'm not quite sure how much RAM I have.

Also I finally remembered what caused the characters to disappear; the character that you have a chance to encounter in the forrest who wants to schedule something with you can never load, and also causes the player character to vanish. I went for a while without stumbling into her/him/them, and managed to get my character pretty big, but then I was unlucky enough to run into him/her/them and then all my progress went down the drain, because my character disintegrated permanently. :(

Characters disappearing may be fixed in the next update because I made divide-by-zero into an error and fixed all the errors, which would fix camera problems, but I have to playtest more to make sure it's not a memory bug.

We'll see if the game loads in V8 on PC next week for you-- I think it will since it was greedily allocating 2 gigabytes of ram, but only needs about 400mb. FATe's loading time should be a bit faster in the next update too because of less data transfer.

I might get a Moto G Play and add it to my lust of devices to test. Sorry about the lost progress--I really need to do more thorough testing (*´꒳`*)

Great to hear! can't wait to see if it's fixed when v8 comes out!

Also, it's fine, I barely even got that far in size, and probably could get there again somewhat easily.

~Ooh and if you have the save file where your player disappeared and FATe still runs and it's persisting across saves, send me the file and I'll see if I can make the save files repair themselves! It's no pressure, but if you do I can look into it. （@╹◡╹@）

I should have, but I didn't want to download anything on my phone, because things would eventually get out of hand because I'd forget I had it downloaded on my phone, and my phone would end up as bad as my old one. Unfortunately (but fortunately at the same time), The latest fix ended up fixing the disappearing character bug for the browser version on my phone.

I just realized that you were asking if the bug was still persisting and to send you the save file if it was, not if I had a save of the game with the bug.
