I like the gameplay concepts that were put in place here, the artwork and animation is pretty good, and I may or may not have stayed in the magenta layer just to listen to the music.
However, the color mechanics introduced were not tutorialized very well, and were not well utilized by the level design or the bossfights, where the former can easily be run through with just the basic double jump, and the latter being easy to brute force by spamming the basic attack button.
While I respect the attempt at purely visual storytelling, I don't feel it did a great job at motivating and contextualizing the gameplay.
