First of all, I just want to say thank you for making your asset pack publicly available. I found it on itch.io and it's really awesome! It has given me a lot of inspiration for my own project.
I'm a brand new, solo indie game developer working on my very first game. It's a 2D pixel art school-life story game, and I'm building everything from scratch by myself in Unity. While I'm drawing about 98% of the art myself, I came across a few pieces in your pack that would be absolutely perfect for what I need.
The reason I'm writing to you is to humbly ask for your permission to use and adapt a few of these assets in my game for commercial use. I saw that the license suggests a $4.50 donation for commercial projects, which is more than fair.
However, as a complete beginner funding this project entirely out of my own pocket with very limited budget, even that small amount is a bit difficult for me right now. I'm really passionate about finishing this game and any help would mean the world to me.
I completely understand if you cannot grant this, but I would be incredibly grateful.
