Thank you for offering yourself as tribute to test and (hopefully) debunk this theory.

But let's be real...would anyone really be surprised if it was genuine? Even barring the logic against it, the boneheaded ideas some of these companies get...sometimes it makes the world of Cruel Serenade seem like a pleasant meadow.

There's a reason CS is set in a dystopia (beside the fact that some of the games I took inspiration from were). 

Things are pretty crazy right now, in a number of ways. But it's important, especially in chaotic situations, to still keep some mental model of the relative likelihood of things. And even now, I think playing wackamole with their customers would be a bit much.
