Nice game!

I like that each time there are some choices to be made which makes it hard. That's what makes a great roguelike

I also like that there is some saving of progress between runs so you feel more progress and it's more like roguelite then

The game has large potential actually if it is done more dynamic and not within two hours :)

Also the visuals fit one another and are consistent, good on that front

For game jams, if I need to prepare for such a short one, I usually just have a pre-setup sound controller with one function "play background music" and just put it in the game, chose a random track and turn it on. Already helps with "music" and ambience you know :D just an advice for how improve music in like 2 minutes of time. I know ofc it's a two hour jam, not much we can do

Anyway, a super decent project. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! I do think I will try making new versions of this, fixing the bugs, and so forth.

That's a great idea on the audio, and I will be doing that from now on. Audio is usually one of the last things I do because I'm picky about what to use, so I was doomed in two hours from the start. Your advice makes sense, I just need to be less choosy about trying music.

The visuals I can't really take credit for, as I was just recoloring and slightly tweaking images from game-icons.net who I credit on the game page since I didn't have time to make a game menu for adding credits. They are wonderful, I highly recommend them for having starter graphics in very little time.

Yeah but still, you have to take the time, find some assets and then put them all together :) So they also fit one style. Takes some effort
