It's extremely rare for me to cry or laugh (besides a simple snort from the nose) while reading or watching something, but this game had me multiple times laughing out loud and SOBBING. Its characters are so well written, tridimensional and nuanced, they make it extremely easy to connect to deeply connect to them. Not only that, the characters take full advantage of the setting in which they exist to tell stories that are so unique and could only exist in the world of Coquette Dragoon.
The world is so inspired and creative too. What started out as something I expected to just be standard sci-fi fare slowly but surely revealed to me so many intricacies in its worldbuilding that were just out of sight and gave so much context about why things are the way they are and of truly how dystopic these two societies are.
I have to particularly commend the writing on Xio, she portrays so many feelings that I feel are rarely, if ever, showed in media and she tugged at my heartstrings more than any other character in this game or in recent memory
Absolute 10/10 experience that I'm shilling to all my friends. I cannot wait for the next chapters, I finished it yesterday and yet I'm already suffering imagining how many years it'll be until the full story is unfurled. I can't wait to see more of your writing and world.
