I knew I was going to love this book from the moment I heard about it, and it exceeded all expectations. Josie Jaffrey’s prose is easy to get lost in, with chilling tension and addictive characters skillfully woven into every word. KILL ME QUICK is no exception; I could NOT put it down.
A gripping, seductive, and utterly devourable introduction to a new series, this story throws us into the dark and dangerous world of immortality, with an electrifying sapphic romance that sparks off the page from the very first interaction. Both of the protagonists are utterly badass and impossible not to fall for, especially in the midst of the trouble surrounding them. Between the mystery of a missing woman and the promise of threats from all sides, as well as a gorgeous, instinctive connection between the two women, I’m itching to get to the next novella in the series. Plus, zombies and former pirates! All set in an atmospheric mansion in the south! Jaffrey balances all of these qualities effortlessly despite the shorter length, providing us with a rich and intricate dark fantasy that will absolutely satisfy your literary cravings.
