I wrote a little supplement for 24XX that uses Rock Paper Scissors instead of dice, for situations where you want to play but you don't have the dice or it's just not convenient. like a car ride, which is where I go the initial spark to think about "can we play something without the dice?"
and then I ran into Jason's Advanced Let's Play Pretend 2nd Edition that uses Rock Paper Scissors and things clicked :D
