I had Demon Kiss on my “to-play” list for a while, and I’m so glad I finally got around to it, because wow, it did not disappoint! (Spoilers ahead!)
First of all, Felix. If I’ve ever related to a MC, it’s him. He was such a cutie and felt so easy to connect with. I mean a gamer, who doesn't want to socialize? ME.
Trisetar, on the other hand, was a wonderfully written love interest. Honestly, I wish the game had been hours longer so I could experience everything without the time jumps (only because I wanted even more time with them), but even with that, the relationship development between Felix and Trisetar felt natural and heartfelt. Watching them grow closer was so satisfying (though I did laugh at the completely random moment when Trisetar just decided to nap on Felix out of nowhere lol).
The plot twist with Vanessa didn’t come as a huge surprise to me (I kind of saw it coming), but it was still a really fun “ooohhh” moment that kept me hooked.
The sprites and GUI were absolutely beautiful, and the story as a whole was very engaging. I also loved both endings a lot. Especially the graphic shirts in my second ending. That was such a great touch!
Overall, this was a fantastic game, and I’m so glad I finally played it.
