Honest curiosity: Why don´t you release it in GoG?

Hi, I reached out to GoG, and their response was quite frankly, offensive.
I think a lot of people don't realize that GoG is curated by one or more individuals, and not an open platform where developers can simply host their games.
Not only did they decline, but in such a way that I could tell they didn't even look at the game, let alone play it for any meaningful length of time. I believe they pre-judged the game based on a couple of screenshots alone.
The response was so outlandishly off base that I don't think I'll ever submit a game to them again as it's clear they don't really care to investigate beyond surface level preconceived notions. This is understandable once you realize GoG is curated by people with specific tastes who apparently don't want to explore games that don't fit with their personal tastes at first glance. I just wish they were more open about it, because I have been asked hundreds of times to release the game on GoG, and all I can say is "Sorry, they didn't even want to touch my game."
Unfortunately there are many games that GoG users want on the platform that have been rejected in similarly embarrassing fashion: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_gogcom_has_turned_down
