I know about pico-8 just few days before this JAM, and i found it interesting and convenient that i can code, draw and write songs in a single engine. :)
It is so suitable for JAMs and Demos. The only shortage is it costs 15 dollar:(
I feel the same! I only found it a few weeks ago, but having everything all in one place is really amazing for prototyping.
