Hello! I have seen that exact Godot tutorial video! I am so happy to meet a new Godot developer! Your game is solid, pretty fun, and the controls are tight. A visual user interface to show which form is bound to which bird would be handy, but I would suggest your next step in game design to be adding sound effects. Trust me, it brings a WHOLE level of life into the game. My own game for this jam was also Godot, and the moment sound was added it was like the game is newly alive haha.

But anyways, solid game, super well done especially for a first time. I really liked the night level at the end, I wish more levels were fully like this.

Also I found a glitch that was really fun to use, just a coding error but I made a video to show it to you. Basically if you spam shift, you can rocket forward endlessly. I would design a whole game around a mechanic like this, its just fun. Always follow the fun!

oooh, thank you for your insights!!

adding any audio completely slipped my mind xD

I found out about thatdashing thing too after I uploaded it and didn't evaluate if it's a problem, because I just thought it's fun xD Now that I think about it though, you can probably skip quite some parts of the game
