i'm into your game for an hour or two now and i really like it. 

Currently the progress gap in the early gold stage feels a bit long. So i'd prefer getting some more iron directly after the gold upgrade.

As some future features i'd like to address these (for now):

  • Multi-Ore Dropchance (somehow like crit i guess)
  • Chance to drop an additional one level above (e.g. you mine iron and it drops an additional gold, if unlocked)
  • Add the possibility to skip the 3s waiting time and _not_ rejoin the portal (maybe by pressing shift)
  • Biome Changer (for the ore Portal)
    • Maybe you could add a machine for this where the user can sell ores for a currency and with this currency one could buy something like a new biome (jungle, woods, beach, mountains, underwater).
    • Can be static or animated
    • just for feelgood purposes 
  • Different mining tools
    • Maybe in addition something like a drill, which has some features like multi block dismantling or so
    • Maybe Drones which dismantle blocks by themselves in a period of time
  • Secret occurings of minerals
    • currently we are square based (as you mentioned there may be some different layouts in the future), it might be cool to have a chance that something awesome may spawn outside the regular area (one block in the sidewall that contains something valuable)
    • maybe ad shimmering blocks which contain more than one ore

Update: Something like a minimal ending screen would be cool to tell the player "Oh boi, you've finished the game" more directly. Not only in the description of the drone.

Nice Feedback so far, I like the Idea of the Biomes, and the Tools.
