Hello, thank you to everyone who participated, we unfortunately are in a bit of a weird situation, the score was weirdly only counted for the categorie of how the theme was used and not a median, tell me which one do you think is fairer here are the scores :

Median will be the thing that's taken into account (complain if you want to, please) because, someone could make a game that's in game mechanics very lacking and very boring but it matches the theme and it wins even if no effort was put into it

HOW ITCH COUNTS (only one category) :

#1 GLET

#2 Fish Game

#3 ON THE MENU

#4 SNEK_CRT

#5 asterionMaze

#6 Yo.

#7 AlienMan

#8 Metal SuS monster

#9 Me, My room and The Man in the Corner

#10 The Retro Computer

MEDIAN (with the total points (all points/allcategories)) :

#1 ON THE MENU = 4171.4

#2 fish game = 3680 & GLET = 3680

#3 SNEK_CRT = 3520

#4 asterionMaze = 3040

#5 Me, My room and The Man in the Corner = 2639,8

#6 Yo. = 2600

#7 The Retro Computer = 2545,6

#8 AlienMan = 2200

#9 Metal Sus Monster = 1067,0668

so, sorry to those who hoped i'd let the scores stay as they were

but still, congrats to those who won in both results !

and thank you for participating :)

Ludum Dare has an Overall category for this very situation. Can you let people vote for overall the next time around? I'm not familiar with how hosting jams works on this site. Median seems most fair to me for the current situation. Though, I just find this a "just for fun thing" so I don't care too much either way. Saying as the creator of GLET

I'd rather a game that bends the theme a bit and is interesting/unique/fun, than one that takes it more literally but isn't fun.

Thanks for putting this on!!!
