Thanks thanks thanks a lot for the feedback. I agree with the inclusion of a checkpoint system being needed now having seen other friends play the game and continuously die at various parts of levels 2 and 3 (kind of like learning how to beat a certain boss in a souls game where you could die at various stages of it). We wanted to make sure the level design being what challenges the player more with each level but the A.I. staying predictable by just having them throw bombs only on the left and the right with no change to their x-direction. That said, building the levels with a checkpoint system in mind probably would have made the experience more satisfying to go through.
