The guy kinda lied about them being gone, CosmoPIckle has a Discord and posted an announcement three months ago stating that this game is on an indefinite hiatus and that they're working on another project.

I did not lie, i didn't know they had a public Discord. Plus, an 'indefinite hiatus' is technically abandoning the project.
