Bug Report: Persistent Gym Task After Completion
Game Version: 0.6 Platform: [PC Win64] Date Reported: [2025/08/16]
Description: After completing the gym task for Lucy in version 0.6, the task does not disappear, causing Lucy to wait for the player every morning at the gym door. This issue persists and prevents further progression (party task) in the game.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Complete the gym task for Lucy (version 0.6).
- Save&load,then finish the gym task.
- Lucy continues to wait at the front door, wait for triggering the gym task again every morning.
- Attempt to resolve by completing the task again, but since a gym membership has already been purchased, no dialogue options are available at the reception.
- Press ESC to exit the reception dialogue, but it has no effect, forcing the game to be closed.
Expected Behavior: After completing the gym task for Lucy, the task should be marked as complete and should not reappear the next morning.
Actual Behavior: The gym task remains active, preventing further progression. This issue continues after updating to version 0.6.4 and using the save file located after the gym task but before the party task.
Additional Information:
- Lucy’s conversation still asks the player to go to the gym, preventing the continuation of the party task.
- The party task also cannot be completed, resulting in being unable to skip time or visit other locations, which creates a dead save.
Steps Taken:
- Updated the game to version 0.6.4.
- Tried reloading a save file from before the party task, but the issue persisted.
Severity: High – The bug prevents further progression in the game, causing a game-breaking deadlock.
Possible Fix: Please advise if there is a fix for this issue or if a fresh start is required. If the latter, or please provide guidance on how to avoid triggering the gym task multiple times in future playthroughs.
