it says "no compatible downloads were found" on the itch app and i cant download it
Apologies, just saw the message just now. Maybe it's a itch purge? If you wait a few more day than you can play the new update right away. Its a complete overhaul of this one.

It's because you didn't specify the platform. It's weird but it's how it works ^^
