I really liked this VN! The kinetic art and the soundtrack really add to the kind of grimy, dirty feeling of the story. The interplay of violence and sensuality and the inability to detangle one from the other was great! The general sense of unease and Eden's erratic behaviour also really enhances the vibe, I was never sure what Eden was going to do next.

The first twist of Rachel being exposed was great, and I thought the prose in the subsequent twist, Rachel being shoved over the railing and following her perspective, was lurid and evocative. However, I found this second twist to lack catharsis and instead felt more like making the VN into a shaggy dog story for the sake of shock factor. It's my opinion that it would have been an emotionally stronger ending for Eden to instead offer for Rachel to become her dog full time, now that she can never go back to her former life.
