I had the same thought and reaction, I specifically chose Lars out of all the options because I saw Lars as the quite-innocent, soft, warm and loving one... I thought After Class would be different than all the other furry VNs that's overly centered around horniness, and don't get me wrong, I still have hope that there will be a redemption arc for Lars' and Walter's relationship, but day 12 was just a jaw dropper for me. Continuing Lars' route will be difficult, honestly, it's going to be like having the constant feeling of post-nut clarity all throughout the route, all because of that specific scene from day 12..
