The bee mini-game is difficult for me for several reasons. I experienced a lot of desynchronization issues. For example, sometimes a hit would register when I didn't actually hit, or I would hit, but it wouldn't count, and the latter happened quite often. It's also quite difficult even without these problems. I reached level 4 three times and, in the end, I spent more than 3 hours to complete this mini-game.
