Yeah, but this is a false positive. Why didn't you show how avast detected a malware on your machine then, instead of posting this screenshot?

Well to be honest I kinda panicked and got rid of it and I don't know how to show logs or anyway to show it be deleted but I'm gonna look up how to do that so give me a sec.

Okay so I kinda found out how to do it but there's bad news so I checked the virus scan logs and it wasn't there but I'm now learning it keeps it daily which is kinda dumb since now i don't have proof to show at the moment. Um is there a safer way to download the game and not get the virus?

Yes. If you donwload the game and don't open the zip, it shouldn't infect the game ig. Then you can scan scan the file

alright but if my pc crashes imma panic

alright so it wont find it unless i open the zip and i dont want the virus on here again so what can i do?

Nothing should happen if you unzip it too. But I think if it didn't find it in the zip, it wont find it in the extracted files either, since the files are the same, just compressed. Just don't start the game if you are affraid

alright thank you and also i wasnt trying to be false positive i was just scared oh and i do like your game it was fun even tho it was for 5 minutes

I know this was just explained but I want to say anyway..

Virus total shows the results of many different anti virus's  at the same time. It is extreamley common for an anti virus to flag a file as dangerous, but no anti virus is perfect, this is what we call a false positive, it happens to developers all the time. Unless you're getting negative results in a lot of anti virus's, I wouldn't even be cautious, let a lone worried. And a plus to help you feel safer. This website is a very popular and trusted space in the gaming market, the people behind it approve and verify content which they share to the site. Just like steam  or Humble Bundle! The games are checked and deemed safe. And plus if there really were virus's in the game, somebody woud've already called it out and this game wouldn't exist with the itch io platform anymore. And that goes for any other service like Patreon etc

You are totally safe my dude!!
If you are experiencing performance issues or crashing issues, that would be a hardware/software issue. I would say hardware since this game is an actual 3d game experience with a real 3d environment. Which means it probably utilizes GPU performance unlike other games that run on ren.py (usually 2d images and pre rendered animations.

Oh i see, thank you for this info i apreciate it.
