The game shows pitch black when it comes to the gameplay screen for some reason, but I do like the idea based on what little I could see. Is there a chance you would let another developer finish it?
Hmm, that feels like it could be a number of things: are you running it on Windows? What graphical settings did you use on the launcher screen?
It really pains me to be leaving all these projects unfinished, but I also deeply doubt there would be someone willing/able to pick it up, since almost all of my code tends to turn into spaghetti and would nigh-unreadable to someone seeing it for the first time.
I'd be more than happy to collaborate with someone and share my know-how/process on game-making, though. These things are a pretty massive time/energy sink, which is why I think the ballbusting games that actually get released tend to be fairly simple.
I think i used the basic options, but I'll try some other ones. If I remember correctly, no launcher screen appeared when I run the game, it just opened full screen right away.
I was asking because i'm an aspiring gamedev and this game has a lot of potential. I'm a huge MGS fan and really into ballbusting, so I was considering the possibility of working on this game to completion once I learn enough.
Oh cool! Yeah, I'd be happy to get you the project files (I just checked and they're a pretty hefty 9gb) but I do still think you'd be much better off just using them as a reference and starting from scratch instead. There are a bunch of things I'd be doing differently if I was making a bb game now. Feel free to reach out: groinpaingames@gmail.com
