I'm so glad someone liked the callback to 'Do you like sweets?' too! Alice is returning! Don't worry, she will be back in the story... in the cozy corner, she's got the kettle on and she's ready to pour that cuppa, give you a slice of cake and tell you that she's proud of you.
(Also, if you squint, you might start to see how some of John's more positive influencers have contributed to his personality in the present day...Cassian and Alice have influenced John quite heavily though he wouldn't darent admit it...)
