You do know quantum physics isn't sci-fi right? Literal madness? So "magic" is more believable then? Or that only humans can control these "songs" that are invisible and everywhere? Or some random hole in the ground that has "something" in it that's magic?
I'd go with the thing we know exists(Quantum physics), over magic. As what humans don't understand could've been considered magic or divine intervention.

quantum physics is used in sci-fi when the writer wants to introduce magic, actual quantum physics is scientists trying to see what particals get up to when we arent looking.
so yes, magic is much more believable in a world that involves literal possession and imortality where demons wander around in machines and drive people insane just by being seen for too long.
