I'm having to give my pc a whole virus scan because right after opening the public download, I started getting one of the tell tale signs of a virus (an absurd amount of antivirus pop-up) >:(
Any antivirus other than than the one bundled with your OS is just bloatware. If you paid for it, then you've been scammed. Unless Windows Defender freaks out about a file for reasons other than it being unverified, the files should be safe.
