Hiya! I wanted to say, this project looks VERY promising so far - it's unpolished, but the art is gorgeous and you seem to have a strong idea of where you want to go with the game.

I want to try and avoid giving feedback that I've seen so far, or questions i've seen asked/answered, so:

  • I think the parry can work. In its current state it doesn't feel great both due to the lack of feedback on performing one successfully and the players attacks being... meh, but it can definitely work with some polish, I think. I won't suggest something like a recoil animation solely because I think it's more responsible to try and suggest things that minimize your workload - just needs a strong audio cue and some kind of visual effect I think.
  • I like the little interactable unnamed NPCs around, like the fox stuck with a slime in her or the wolf in a food coma at the start. It'd be nice if you could voluntarily feed yourself to one of them I think. Or at least, voluntarily as the player, even if Graphite doesn't.
  • I think that the game sometimes has some visual clarity issues when showing off what is a walkable platform and what isn't - the tree branches in the forest look like you should be able to stand on them, and when scaffolding/platforms are in shadow it often looks like you shouldn't be able to stand on them.
  • You've mentioned you have a bug-themed boss/area planned - can you expand on what that might entail, or do you not feel comfortable sharing so early in development? Personally, I have a soft spot for slugs - either as preds, for sex/broodmother purposes, or infestation. My personal taste hopes that the bug area has more sexual content rather than being all vore, but that's just me hoping.
  • Will there be bad ends/game overs focused on things other than vore, or will any of the sexual content you've hinted towards still be primarily buildup to a vore game over?

I think that's all I have to say for now. I'm not holding my breath just in case, but this project looks very feasible and very promising, and I'm looking forward to see where it goes. Wishing you luck!!
