I am happy you liked it. I am giving attention to my TTRPG system now, but I intend to add tables for sci-fi settings to this game master emulator.
Hey, i came up with an idea for a possible update:
Maybe one thing you wanna add is a table to help determine the power level of the NPCs or monsters, and maybe some ideas that could alterate the NPC or Monster stats.
I could suggest looking at the following:
F.O.R.G.E.
https://zap-forge.itch.io/forge
and UNE (PDF is "Pay what you want", just type 0 on the "Custom" text box).
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/134163/une-the-universal-npc-emulator-re...
And yes, i know UNE is there for a reason, but having something similar in your GME could help a lot for those who don't play FORGE.
Another idea that came into my mind while playing F.O.R.G.E. is something that came into my desire to play with a group while playing solo.
Here's a quote from F.O.R.G.E. about the detailed tracking of companions in page 18:
" It is significantly easier to run a solo game with a single PC and a few
companions than multiple fully fledged PCs. Using basic hirelings and
mercenaries to make up the party makes tracking things even simpler still."
What i would look into is some way to being able to play an Adventurer Party without having to construct more than one PC, i don't know if this is possible, but here is my idea of what i would do in future games:
1. Ask if the Character is alone, with even odds
2. If i get a "Yes, But..." or "No, but...", The PC has one Companion, if i get a simple "Yes" my character has 2 Companions, but if instead i get a "Yes, And...", then my character has 3 companions instead.
3. If i get a "No, And" obviously the character is completely alone, and allies must be found while adventuring.
Another thing i do is to keep the amount of enemies that can attack a single target up to 3, for the sake of fairness, i don't know how YOU would manage it.
Anyway, those are my ideas :P
