Well, that's odd. That choice appears to be just like one of the other choices in the game : deciding if you want to date that character or not. "christine is not a dish I am interested in". To make it a "bad" choice that leads to a bad ending is counter intuitive. I shouldn't HAVE to date people I am not interested in just to survive. I think you should change it, at least the phrasing and implication of the choice (no dating, just business or something)
Agree! I hadn't gone back and re-read the words used for that choice after doing the next part of the game.
I've redone it to give clarity that accepting dinner, when not in a relationship, is just dinner with a friend not a date. Given an option to back away from a relationship but still accept dinner if you'd started down that path but didn't want it. Lastly added some wording to more clearly hint that trashing that friendship might have consequences.
This will all come out as patch 1.2.4 shortly.
