I was thinking more about the idea of ghost accounts on places like facebook. Relics of people who have died, preserved records of who they were. There are millions floating around out there. And one day they are going to take up too much data space and facebook is going to go through and purge them. Records lost forever.
How similar are our memories of lost love ones? Records of who they were in our lives, floating around as long as we do. Ghost memories. Purged from the world when we too die.
