Absolutely stunning, I'm so glad to have seen this! I think it is so beautiful how much still lifes and landscapes can capture of our surroundings and pieces of our lives. It's certainly made me want to do more studies of environments around me! My personal favorite was number 9, but I think that's obvious knowing my tastes in color/lighting and for artificial forms. I find that most of the photos I take that interest me are of buildings, the more artificial the better (shoutout to the humble grain silo), so I think something that captures a very mundane part of life that isn't normally captured in landscapes (like driving) is something really special to me, before even considering the depth of lighting and texture. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thank you! Yeah 9 is the one I probably put the most effort (though not the most time, that would be 16) into out of all of these. For a few months I had a bit of a fixation on cars, road signs/lights, and certain components of buildings (mainly gutters, HVAC systems, windows, and antennas/satellite dishes) and that played into some of the choices I made in it. Actually now that I think about it I have several other pieces from freshman year that would fit in with the rest (drawings of artificial indoor spaces), I'd just need to take proper high-resolution photos first. Part II in a couple weeks maybe... & Also I am so glad to hear that my art makes you want to make art!!! That is lovely and if you do your own environment studies I would love to see them!!
