I guess the door opening was more surprising than mirror that why lol. The events mentioned in diary was just previous experiences of Lily and she is just trying to communicate through the diary and guide the player to move forward, thats just part of the story and your idea of using that element as feedback is a great idea i will think about it in the next update, thanks.
