As to what kind of changes and improvements I would have like to see:
- More lore about the world around Iria: newspapers, books (normal or esoteric), TV broadcasts or otherwise some other content that just tells a bit more about stuff outside of the main story. Maybe some journals to read before sleep?
- Random events that can occur when you transition between locations (angry mob? Some mysterious benefactor leading you to a secure place in the woods to kill or give you a clue? Police stops you for routine check?)
- Just generally more locations, characters and clues with the ability to further interrogate character. My idea was to give some characters a fixed set of clues they need to be shown in order for them to “crack”.
- Maybe ability to sometimes sneak up from motel room at night to spy on one denizen or investigate something.
- More creepy events or some indication that the rot is intensifies as the days go on (worms instead of cereals, or buildings looking dirtier and decrepit and streets full of ants, other insects, or frogs?)
- Maybe some phone adjacent activies?
- Ability to visit your friend’s house. It’s kinda weird she never goes back to it.
