your probably trying to move and shoot at the same time. just stay still when you want to shoot, if you move around youll notice the gun stops following your cursor. i think the reason thats the way it is, is because the whole point of the game is your sneaking around, your not meant to be some action hero or smth clearing out a bunch of enemies at once.
