1. unfortunately some people are experiencing input latency, that's just part of the surprises you get with WebGL especially in game jams, in the windows build this doesn't seem to happen
2. we decided not to reset the game when going over the qualification time mainly to let the player experiment with the mechanics, either for practicing a route or just jumping around haha, we had a couple of playtests where the player wanted to try and fill the grid with the doggo :D
