The charity riddle is fairly simple, but I also say that about the lockbox cipher, and a lot of people seem to have trouble with that, too u.u maybe I need to write a guide on these things for people who might want it :d but if you want a hint, it's about the colours!
Oh, don't worry about breaking Ish's heart; the story will accomodate your choices if you choose to engage with other characters. It just determines whether or not the two of them go through a trial polyamorous period. I couldn't bring myself to have the option of driving a wedge between them :d
