I also require a solution, I've tried combine all of the six items I have (the hag stone, scroll, gem, slime jar, "portal" and grabby jaw) but nothing is working. I've heard reports that there's a bug that makes the boss not give you the item needed for this puzzle, but that item is the grabby hand, no?
