"exe is missing" makes it sound like windows or your antivirus might actually be the issue, it sounds like something is deleting the file thinking it's malicious

unlikely, last time i had such a issue, i fixed it by moving the game to a different user account and it worked. and plenty of stuff that get tagged as a virus i just let through anyway , the game and everything is there, it just says the freaking run file that needs to be installed too is missing even after downloading, ill try to download the game again and see if it works this time
