Right now I'm just prepping for a condensed playtest campaign (ten sessions or less if I can get away with it.) I wanted to plan something weird that I couldn't do with another system, so I've decided to pull a long con on my friends.
I've told all of my players to think of "really generic dnd characters." The game is going to start as a basic swashbuckling sword and sorcery romp with an open mission structure, however, as my players complete missions they'll start filling up a clock called: "Insight."
As the insight clock fills, hidden missions will start to appear on the map. The intention is to gradually reveal to my players that their characters are androids that are trapped in a Westworld situation.
I'm planning to start the game next month. I'm sure I'll have a lot more thoughts on the system once I actually get it to the table.
