For anyone having the "Failed to load mono" from the patch update today, here is a fix from a user by the name of Aria from the official discord:
"Go and download the zip version from itch.io, and extract just the folder "MonoBleedingEdge" into Data/Application from wherever you run the launcher from. The folder was missing in there for me."
